Deploying locations for Sitealarm

To deploy a location yourself, please read the following information. If you have read all the information and still have questions, feel free to contact us. If all of the following points apply to you, you can register as a location operator.

What is a location?

A location is a server used by Sitealarm to monitor your website. We monitor your website from multiple locations. The primary location is Frankfurt, Germany.

These can be provided by us, or you can deploy your own location. There are no special requirements for operating a location. You only need a server with a public IP address (IPv4 and/or IPv6).

Adding locations

We also offer you the option to register as the operator of a location. If you are interested, please contact us. There are no special requirements for operating a location. You only need a server with a public IP address (IPv4 and/or IPv6).

After that, you need to provide an endpoint to which we can send a POST request. The endpoint should return an HTTP/200 response if everything is fine.
